Tajender Singh Luthra is a highly successful Indian Police Officer and has served in different capacities in Delhi Police since 1990. Luthra has held position of Deputy Commissioner of Police in Capital’s districts and of the crime branch where he’s investigated many challenging cases. He has also held an important position in the Crime against Women cell of Delhi Police during his tenure. He was also awarded President’s Medal for meritorious service. The tough cop has also a lighter side as he is not only an eloquent debater, but also the founder of online association of poets. He has contributed many articles on human rights and policing in leading Indian newspapers and journals. He is currently posted as Joint Commissioner of Police in Delhi Police Northern Range. His specialized interest lies in human rights, police reforms and women rights.
