Ambereen brings with her 12 years of work experience in communications comprising media, international development to public relations. Currently she works with Edelman providing strategic communications planning; designing national level communications campaign and project management. She has also worked with UNESCO and monitored and evaluated projects in cultural development and capacity building in the area of eco-tourism, peace education, craft and heritage. She has worked with The Asian Age and The Telegraph. She has also worked with a Palestinian NGO in Ramallah. Her work focused on content development, writing and editing reports and documents. She has volunteered with the Israeli Women Network, an Israeli NGO in Jerusalem.
She won a scholarship to Sri Lanka to research on gender and development, and was also awarded the Government of India scholarship to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. She has an M.Phil International Relations, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
